Make hubby bring me to bead cage again cos the boss told me that the beads that i ordered are in. No choice really cos i really need that bead.

Later we stop by coffee bean to buy our favourite black forest ice blend.. Then we walked around chinatown point. Saw this hello kitty shop at chinatown point and i bought some curtain.. Well it is not cheap.. at 18.90 per meter. !!

Found another shop at sell beads at chinatown point too.. But.. all very limited types..

Later i brought hubby to the famous dessert shop at temple street. We order the mango delight .. and gui ling gao.. Simply fabulous!.. By then we are too full to eat dinner..

Then afterwards, I went to his house to see my parent-in-laws..

HUbby come home liao YEAH~

15 Sept

I finished the the jie mei earring for Bride.. today! Opss but i forgot to take a photo of it.. but hey it looks just like the design.. only added extra Bling factor. Heeee

Hubby come home today! Yeah.. He reached his house around at 5pm and came to pick me pick me up from work at 6pm.. haaa.. I miss hubby.

Then as usual , we go for his favourite sushi at thomson again.. You ask him where he wants to eat and he will will his standard reply: Thomson Edo sushi! .. So when you do not want to go thomson, you don't want to ask him.

Arghh.. a few of my students saw me there..at the ATM.. Shit.. Why do they always follow me around.. Somemore i thought this Thomson plaza quite ulu.. and out of place. Wonder why they are there anyway. Anyway i Just smiled and walked away.

Later we went to ntuc to buy some things then we go home..

re Stock

14th Sept

Went to bead cage to stock up crystal for my bridal set. It was my first time going alone without hubby.. :~ . Took me around 40mins on a MRT to reach chinatown mrt.

I accidently found a new place call lai guan that does wholesales of beads and crystal and related product in people's park centre first floor.. Funny how come i didnt see that shop previously. I was overwhlme by the amout of semi-presious stones they have.. and they are not cheap. I have been trying to get some turquoise stone but i found out that they are really not cheap. Anyway it is a good place cos the normal 3mm and 4mm crystal sells cheaper then anywhere else.

However i couldn't find the crystal Comet Argent Light.. which is a silver metallic crystal. I went to bead cage later and she too doesnt have it. She however promise to order for me and give me a call if the stocks arrive. I kinda panic for a while cos that crystal is a important component in my design.

OH yes.. I was rushing around the place that i find out that i didn't have time to eat cos i was afraid that the shops are going to close at 9pm. I bought some mini meat and lotus buns to munch while i walk around crystal hunting.

After bead cage, i went to Jing Long again.. They too didnt have Comet argent light. I was actually quite surprised becos it is a very nice crystal but all they say is that they didnt have it.

Anyway I went home at 9pm and reached home around 10.30pm.. HATE IT!!!! I miss hubby already! :~

Was too tired to do anything after that..just sort out my crystal and packed them properly into the boxes.

13 Sept..

Hubby go KL liao... :~
He called me when he reached the hotel and bragged about his deluxe suite hotel room.. There is a mini kitchen, a living room with study area and a queen size bed. Not forgetting a big toilet with a bath tub and a separted shower area. A great room but no time to enjoy.. Pity~ I should be there.. Starting to regret already!!

Anyway did more research on different earrings and choker design for myself.. plotted the design with the tool to estimate the number of cystals to use.

Oh yes, this is the design that i do for the JieMei of the bride.

Went slimming after work.. Was pretty pissed at the service the other day when they make me wait and wait for almost 1/2 hour.. at least today was pretty smooth and i got home around 8.30pm for mum home cooked food. Played my civcity again.

12 Sept..

okie.. today i showed her the designs.. and she wanted 1 & 3 combined.. so i designed another one with both combined.. and this is it..

I will be changing the pink crystal to silver ones. And i started to design her choker..
designed quite a few and in the end she picked this..

Sweet! .. The greatest part in designing anything is the process. 我享受着整个构思，设计还有制作的每个过程。。　对我来说那是一种喜悦。。　可能我真的找到我真正喜欢的终身职业。准新娘给了我第一张订单！她要我帮她制作九个简单的耳环给她的姐妹们！。。　我只是象征性的收费。。　我享受的只是过程嘛！！以后一定会做一些经济考量。。　哈哈。。

对了！我因该要自己开一本账簿。。庆祝我自己开业啦！！

晚上到老公家里，帮他收拾行李，他明天要到吉隆坡公干两天。。　我本想一起跟着去。。　可是我的生活费已经快要用完。。　所以不想再去那里血拼。。乱花钱了。。　心想以后再去吧。。　一定会有机会的！

Researching

11 Sept.. Woow 911..

Today the US commemorate the people that dies in the 911 incident.

Have been researching on various necklace and earring designs today. Flipped through previous bridal magazine and search onlined. Found a good site that has a software tool that enables you to design your own jewellery using swarovski crystal.. WOW.. Then i don't have to draw anymore, i just need to use this tool to help me visualise my design.. Hey..I realise my drawing skills has improve after drawing for a few days.. YEAH..

Little red bomb came today.. erm.. okie i decide to design a set of earrings and matching choker for her wedding. This is just few of the primary designs..

Will let her choose tomorrow...

Steve Irwin Marathon Show..

10 Sept

Steve Irwin marathon show has been playing on Animal planet from 12am.

I woke up around 9am and the first thing i do is to switch on the TV and tune in for the shows.. watch it while i eat breakfast, while i do my beading and while i do housework.. I must have watched over 6 hours of the marathon show.. Funny how we could still laugh at his jokes when the whole world mourns for one of the earth best wildlife conservationist.

He inspires me .. and will continue to do so even now that he is gone. I will always remember how he taught me about snakes and not all are venomous.. I love the beautiful snake scales now and will try to save a snake if i see someone trying to kill one. His conservation message is clear and has succeeded.

I try to be like him now that i am more equipped with knowledge of animals, their habitate, their behaviour and i try to safe them. And i Like the Slogon used by Animal planet... "When the buying stops, the killing can too" , "没有买卖就没有杀害”。 I will do my little part in saving endangered animals by not buying.. and discouraging the use of animal parts in medicine, like the bear bile, the tiger bones.. etc etc.. It pains to see how the sun/ moon bears are tortured to culture their biles for traditional medicine. I stopped eating shark fins and I will only eat reared poultry. No eating of wildlife for me..

I also influence the people around me.. everytime when I see people eat shark fins, I will tell them about the plight of sharks and how these sharks are murdered for their fins and later throwned back into the ocean and left to die. All blood and gore.. I might not succeed but i hope to create an awareness and hope that people will think twice about eating shark fins again.

Okie today i finish another pair of earring.. Bronze one with white opaque crystals.

Boliao week

8 Sept

Nothing much lately.. life is boring~..

Tried out various ways to make a choker.. and this is a trial piece using cheap acrylic 4mm bead that come in one big box @ $4 Its about 800 beads in a box. Just nice for thoes that like to experiment like me before doing the actual thing in swarovski crystal that cost 10ct for each 4 mm bead.

Anyway this is what i have done today.

Lesson learnt.. do not use elastic fishing line for heavy beads. reserve them for smaller beads at a shorter length like for bracelets only. Tried this design using it and it is very flimsy.. so this is made of 4mm wire. I truly enjoy the process of making jewellary.. who knows.. maybe it might just be what I will be doing for the rest of my life.. I just got to learn more techniques now..

Oh just went to visit my student in industrial attachment today.. Just a short and sweet meeting to understand what my student is doing and how is the working enviroment..

Was caught in a sudden drizzle when i went there. But didnt feel that serious until i go shopping later at orchard.. My throat hurts and my nose didnt feel good.. Walked only for a few hours and decides to go home.. Maybe partly it was boring to shop alone.. Hiaz...

Went home to have a good bath.. some hot porriage and lay around. Hubby had to work late so he came pretty late. But was glad that he came to see me cos i wasnt really feeling well.

Appreciate it.

Steve Irwin dies

4th sept

Arghh.. was very hungry at 11am.. eat a few piece of crakers and went for lunch at 12.30pm. Frankly i don't quite understand why gastic stikes me after i had lunch..

ARghh. Pain until now..

This morning set up activate new IAP projects for new batch.. Okay.. I finally became one of the Liaison officer for one student.. Guess what.. I finish the SOP for creating accounts too.Funny.. i felt a sense of achievements.. Die.. i must be becoming one of thoes civil servants that enjoy writing SOP! (Standard operating procedures) And will do work according and following SOP! No lar.. i am simply writing a manual for my system so that .. If i decides to leave one day.. someone can just take over my work.

I flipped through style wedding magazine.. and noted various jewellary design and draw them on paper. I also drew thoes earrings that i took with my handphone at M&S the other day.. hmm..I need to practice more in taking pictures on the phone cos the pictures really sux and i have to try to figure out what i took.

One of my colleague getting married next month.. Oh didn't invite me again.. Guess i am among the most unpopular person on earth/ or in office. Well let's look on the bright side. No red bomb Yeah~Now i know who to invite for my wedding list must make thoes ppl pay for not inviting me HAhaha... she didnt invite me but i must invite her to make her lugi mar.. cos if she come to mine she have to pay red bomb....

Anyway it is not a surprise lar.. we not very close also. (Self-consoling in process) Aiya Don't have to c that person i dont want to see also.. she is the MC ley.. Wah lao like that also can be MC. Can't believe it.. what a choice..

Hiaz.. no need to feel sad.. maybe she thinks that i never invite her for my R.O.M.. so she don't invite me lor.. Aiya my ROM TOO many ppl and too little seats.. how to invite everyone.. In the end i only invite a few Frens nia..

Was shocked to hear Steve Irwin killed by a stingray when i was watching TV. OMG!!!Damn! So buddy was saying that someone was killed by a stingray this afternoon was Steve Irwin.. Damn it.. I always like his show. Watch every morning when i am at home..even if it is a repeat. My favourite wildlife presenter.. HOW CAN THAT happen..?? I am so shocked! It was said that the stingray punctured his heart.. Hiaz.. So freaky!!How can like That.. I am very sad....... :~

3rd Sept

Woke up at 9pm..

It is very annoying when u just woke up and saw your doggie mess up the wrong place again. I decides to punish it by not bringing him down for a walk and banished him to the luandry area.

After breakfast, i play civcity until 12.30pm.. didnt feel like doing anything anyway..

Hubby came at 12.30 and we go downstairs for lunch.. Yeah.. I decides to eat KFC! Oh man.. I haven eat that in months! It feels good to indulge sometimes. Funny the chicken didnt really taste that good today.. and i grew sick of it when i was into my 2nd piece.

Later we went home to complete our housework.

5.30pm -We went to hubby's house.. His maid cook nice food for me minced meat with potato.. one of my favourite.Then there is vegetable soup , fried vegetables and grilled chicken.. Yummy~

Watch School Rumble Anime with hubby.. so cute yet so stupid.. Haha.. make hubby lend me the entire collection.. haha.. I wonder if i have the time to watch! @@

Was on our way home .. and hubby say he wanted to go foot reflexlogy.. Then after the session, we went to cold storage to buy something.. before going home.

2nd sept

Went slimming early morning again.

Then I waited for hubby to go to vista point to eat.I had grilled fish with rice and he ate some char siew rice. Then hubby go buy 4d and I went shop and save.. to grab some daily necessecities.

We rested at home for a while. But was rudely awaken by my mother when she stormed home.You know the kinda feeling you get when you are suddenly awaken and you feel that haven regain consiousness? Felt damn gruchy for the rest of the day. And acted like a alligator snapping turtle by making hubby miserable. Hah! sorry..

Made hubby go to bead cage again to top up on my beads thingy. Argghh.. spent another $50 again.This hobby is definately not cheap.

I ate fish porriage at the famous stall fish soup stall.. Eeeks.. They.. add Hay bee(small dried shrimps) and I was pretty disgusted.. How can they called themselves the TEOChew Style fish porriage. My mom never cooked it that way! Still prefer my mom's fish porriage.. the correct, traditional teochew way!

Later we dragged ourselves home and watched some korean VCD..*yawn* damn draggy..

Finish another pair of earrings while watching the draggy show.. I called it minty!

Final presentation

1 sept Teacher's Day

Ewwww... Lectures have no holiday!.. Anyway.. i am not a lecture too? How come i am teaching ley? Its the project Student's final presentation today.

It started around 9.30am and ended about 3.30pm!! It is suppose to end at 12 but it dragged and dragged and dragged...and everyone could hear our stomach grumbling. Pretty loud you know! We finally could not take it and request to break at 1pm and we ask the students to come back later after lunch. Haha they are not happy that it dragged that long but what choice do they have?

Rushed to eat at the food court and went back for accessment again..

My groups did pretty alright and many got B+ for their project YEY~ I am happy for them.

After work, we went to eat edo sushi at thomson again. Hubby says to celebrate his first day of work .. wah.. haven earn $$ spent $$ already. I don't care, it has got to be his treat.

Later I went to see father-in-law cos he leaving for KL tomolo. Had a little chat with him to understand how will he make speical arrangements due to his lack of mobility. I hope all this goes well and brother-in-law and mother will take care of him well!

Went home when he goes to sleep.. Play civ city till late again
