School Starts Arghhhhh

Recap for last week.

School starts on the 16th Oct.


I have been busy preparing lessons, weekly plan for my module. What do you mean by preparing? It means doing alot of reading, going thru my notes , noting important points to emphasis. Checking the lab configurations. Doing research on various keywords that i am not so sure of. Oh Yes, I have to prepare assignments too.


Some Complaints

Well Guess what? I am not a lecturer, But i have to teach. And that means that i have to do other things other than teaching. Some people on top look at me and think that i only teach 6 hours. That means i am 40-6 hours a week free. They don't realise that I still have to prepare my lessons, reading up takes time you know? I don't want my students think that i am some lousy ass. So I have 4 bosses on top of me, each not knowing what the other one has asked me to do work, so they just Piled on me.. Piled until sometimes I just didnt know which task to do first. So Is teaching a priority or what? Cant stand this dreadful place!



So Y does lesson got to start at 8am.
Well I simply think that the person that did the timetable didnt like me therefore i have my lesson starting at 8am Every Tues. This means i got to wake up at 6.30am, Take a taxi around 7.20am to reach school slightly before 8. I am sure the students hate me for that.



Daddy's BDay 19 Oct.
I brought my family to TAI SENG restuarant for authentic teochew cusines at the people's park centre. The food is light and nice. Love the Teochew steam promfet and the veg. Of cos every teochew restuarant must have is YAM PASTE! yeah my favourite. The price is still reasonable. Will recommend if you like light food.


Brother-in-law Bday.

Yeah J the 2nd bday sits on the 20th of Oct and the whole family went to sambawang shopping center Thai food restuarant to celebrate. Without me of cos, the event was last min I really couldn't cancel my mahjong session with the gals and animal cos we haven met for a long time.



Deepavali MahJong Session
Yes we met up at my friends house for a mahjong session. It was a junk food + kala + mahjong session. We just keep eating and singing and mahjonging from 1pm to 11pm! I guess we are a tad slow cos we only manage 2 rounds. Guess who won the session? The animal has the upper hand again! Argh. I only manage to recoup and win $8+ at the final Hand.

And this is my Siam Flora set which i have partly finish sometime ago. I had a hard time finding a Siam tear drop crystal and it has been sitting there for a couple of weeks.

Have been busy lately trying to meet my orders. Anyway this is a brief summary of last weekend.

On 7th sat, I went to queensway shopping center in the afternoon to alter the length of my new jeans, Hubby collect his new tailored pants from the same shop. Then we went to ikea for lunch (what else MEAT BALLS and Chicken wings) and we bought a samsung vacumn cleaner cos my spoiled and i have to do my housework tomolo!. No choice ~$89$~ . I have used samsung before it has proved to the longest lasting and friendly to use vacumn cleaner.

Then i rushed to my hairdresser in yishun at 4pm for a little trim and styling for the wedding dinner later. Went home to change and makeup for the event. Reached orchid country club around 7.10pm. I always wondered why colleuges have to invite Big Bosses! Haiz.. The situation is tense at that table somehow. Oh Yes, I wore my blue babydoll dress with my Blue stone necklace and earrings that i designed myself. Hehehe.. And my friend wore the necklance that i made for her.. ( will show u guys later) .

On the 8th Sun, Its housework time. I didn't have time to go slimming this weekend.. Hiaz..

Hubby and I finished our housework around 4+ and went to my dad's flower nursery in Jalan Kayu. We were very hungry therefore we stop by the roti prata shop ( the one at the far end) to have our favourite prata, indian rojak and milo GODZZILA!! Hehe.. I didnt drink that.. hubby drink it all himself. Hubby was sad that we recieved a ticket for forgetting to tear coupons for the car! Arghh.. ~$30~ !! Then we went to pick up the Bonsai from the nursery. The pair of Bonsai are meant to be birthday present for Hubby's GodMom whos birthday falls on the 11Oct.

We sent the plants over to her place and went off to chinatown. What else? Re-stocked of cos.. Man.. I grew so familier of the place.. Oh shucks.. U mean most of the bead shop don't open on SUNDAY!!!.. Damn.. I only went to beadcage. Hiaz..



Okie this are the few orders i did since last week.

A long necklace of pearls and other cystals. And a Matching Bracelet.

Then there is the Emerald ethenic earrings for one of my colleagues.

Oh yes.. yesterday. 12 Oct, we went to celebrate my friends's birthday at a Jap restuarant in Bugis Junction. The food is quite special but the service SUX!.. will really make me think twice of going there again. I was very happy that everyone turned up yesterday cos i haven seen them for some time. Sometimes it is really the company that counts.. Anway

Surprise surprise.. Hubby bought me a 19inch LCD moniter. Yeah.. very cheap.. No.. not going to tell you how much.. BLEH!..

Wow Time really flies, I haven been here for sometime.. cos I was busy working , playing and doing my jewellary. Have lots to catch up today.. so just bear with me. Anyway i just upgraded my blog to blogger beta, will try to change the template once i am Free! (dunno when)

This one is created by Tiger Tail wire.

And another Red pair for me:

I thought to have a little fun with weaving a little basket, this one is made from all acrylic bead. Just for fun .. gave it to little cinamon roll. Also done on 19 Sept

A sliver glass bead earring for me on 21th Sept:

The right one is my first idea, then i feel that it is TOO much.. therefore i simplify it to the one on the left side. Now it really show off that interesting Glass bead. Cos previously you will only be attracted to the Bling bling on top.

Then I am left with some black pendants, therefore i decided to do a little necklace for myself. But i didnt have the black extension chain. Will buy and replace it later. 22th sept.

Then i realise i need something to go with my blue dress top for the wedding on 30 Sept so i went to buy many types of semi precious stones.. spent alot on that.. Oh yes i also did my nails to suit that blue dress.

The colour of the nails inspires me to do the necklace in these 3 colours, Blue, White and Pink!
I almost finished it on the 28Sept but.. The bride caught chicken pox and postponed the wedding, so i took my time and finished it on 3rd Oct. Comes i with matching earrings too!

Alright.. I have to more pieces to show.. but i show it tomolo. Stay tuned.

Comet Argent Light

16 Sept

Make hubby bring me to bead cage again cos the boss told me that the beads that i ordered are in. No choice really cos i really need that bead.

Later we stop by coffee bean to buy our favourite black forest ice blend.. Then we walked around chinatown point. Saw this hello kitty shop at chinatown point and i bought some curtain.. Well it is not cheap.. at 18.90 per meter. !!

Found another shop at sell beads at chinatown point too.. But.. all very limited types..

Later i brought hubby to the famous dessert shop at temple street. We order the mango delight .. and gui ling gao.. Simply fabulous!.. By then we are too full to eat dinner..

Then afterwards, I went to his house to see my parent-in-laws..

HUbby come home liao YEAH~

15 Sept

I finished the the jie mei earring for Bride.. today! Opss but i forgot to take a photo of it.. but hey it looks just like the design.. only added extra Bling factor. Heeee

Hubby come home today! Yeah.. He reached his house around at 5pm and came to pick me pick me up from work at 6pm.. haaa.. I miss hubby.

Then as usual , we go for his favourite sushi at thomson again.. You ask him where he wants to eat and he will will his standard reply: Thomson Edo sushi! .. So when you do not want to go thomson, you don't want to ask him.

Arghh.. a few of my students saw me there..at the ATM.. Shit.. Why do they always follow me around.. Somemore i thought this Thomson plaza quite ulu.. and out of place. Wonder why they are there anyway. Anyway i Just smiled and walked away.

Later we went to ntuc to buy some things then we go home..

re Stock

14th Sept

Went to bead cage to stock up crystal for my bridal set. It was my first time going alone without hubby.. :~ . Took me around 40mins on a MRT to reach chinatown mrt.

I accidently found a new place call lai guan that does wholesales of beads and crystal and related product in people's park centre first floor.. Funny how come i didnt see that shop previously. I was overwhlme by the amout of semi-presious stones they have.. and they are not cheap. I have been trying to get some turquoise stone but i found out that they are really not cheap. Anyway it is a good place cos the normal 3mm and 4mm crystal sells cheaper then anywhere else.

However i couldn't find the crystal Comet Argent Light.. which is a silver metallic crystal. I went to bead cage later and she too doesnt have it. She however promise to order for me and give me a call if the stocks arrive. I kinda panic for a while cos that crystal is a important component in my design.

OH yes.. I was rushing around the place that i find out that i didn't have time to eat cos i was afraid that the shops are going to close at 9pm. I bought some mini meat and lotus buns to munch while i walk around crystal hunting.

After bead cage, i went to Jing Long again.. They too didnt have Comet argent light. I was actually quite surprised becos it is a very nice crystal but all they say is that they didnt have it.

Anyway I went home at 9pm and reached home around 10.30pm.. HATE IT!!!! I miss hubby already! :~

Was too tired to do anything after that..just sort out my crystal and packed them properly into the boxes.

miss ing In Action

13 Sept..

Hubby go KL liao... :~
He called me when he reached the hotel and bragged about his deluxe suite hotel room.. There is a mini kitchen, a living room with study area and a queen size bed. Not forgetting a big toilet with a bath tub and a separted shower area. A great room but no time to enjoy.. Pity~ I should be there.. Starting to regret already!!

Anyway did more research on different earrings and choker design for myself.. plotted the design with the tool to estimate the number of cystals to use.

Oh yes, this is the design that i do for the JieMei of the bride.

Went slimming after work.. Was pretty pissed at the service the other day when they make me wait and wait for almost 1/2 hour.. at least today was pretty smooth and i got home around 8.30pm for mum home cooked food. Played my civcity again.
