Beads hunting

Leg swollen in the morning again.. called hubby to come bring me to c doctor. Ate the medicine while waiting.. While waiting for hubby to come, i actually felt better. So i decide not to go afterall cos it will cost $$ again. Hmm better take note of what i eat. Hiaz.. already alot of things cannot eat.

Went to Jin Long at the people's park centre. It's a old shop that sell all the various kitting , sewing stuff, it's stuff is pretty expensive TOO. Shopped for some time, trying to look through the various metal stuff for making earrings. Spent about $30+ .

Hubby went to look around while I went to jin Long, He told me there are more shops that sell beads. The one opposite Jin Long sell plastic flax pearls.. Hmm not really interested. Then we went to the bead shop at Basement 1. It has quite a good collection of swaroski cystal and Charms. Interesting shop. Bought a Jap beading magazine call friends. Interesting designs.

Hubby was hungry then so we decide to eat at the food court that was on level 1 or 2? Couldn't remember.. Ate some Taiwanese hot plate stuff, Quite nice.. Funny went we where there, there was no queue, but people seems to join the queue after we ordered our stuff. I wonder it is the Singapore thinking that thoes stalls have queue will definately taste nice.. Or izzit becos the both of us are some sort of 招财猫。。 whereever we go , we seems to bring people and $$ to other people. I guess he is the 招人 and i am the 招财！We stared at the queue and put our arms together to sybolize the cat's arm. Haah

Finally went to bead cage above people's park hawker center. Replenish my stuffs and was surprised that some of the BIGGER cystal is only 1/2 price of what JIN long is selling.. ARGHHH.. TUI! Heartache.. Should have come here first.. REGRETS...

Anyway went home after that. Reading through the various books that i bought on beads jewellary while figuring out my next project. Though about doing the Brown frog button earring first. This is the result.

There is one constraints working with chinese frog earring, and that is it only one sided. The other side often have some ribbon ends and could be unslightly sometimes. I have to figure out how to make it in a way that it will not turn that much to see the back of the button.

I am only fairly happy with this pair.. Hmmmmmm
